Soft adhesive pads go on the skin over the area we're treating, and a very low-level electrical current runs between them. Most patients describe it as a light buzzing or tapping, and we dial the intensity to whatever's comfortable for you - you're in control of it the whole time.

The current encourages tight, guarded muscle to relax and let go, which is why it's so often used alongside an adjustment rather than on its own. When the surrounding muscle stops bracing, the adjustment is easier to deliver and tends to hold better between visits. There's no medication involved and nothing to recover from afterward.
