It was a 6-hour flight out of Anchorage during Alaska’s worst winter in 50 years. When we landed in Seattle, I knew something was wrong with my back. I couldn’t stand up straight and walking was difficult. Another 4-hour flight to Cincinnati, I could hardly push the clutch to drive home from the airport. It felt like an ice pick in my low back. I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t want to stay awake. Basically, I was miserable for months.
I take good care of myself. I exercise, I stay in shape, but even I had to admit I needed help. Chiropractic care is an exercise of faith. And just like faith in God it doesn’t happen at once. My films showed improvements, my pain level didn’t. But I was walking better every day. I was taking on more at work. I was actually feeling really good.
Talk to your doctor! Pay attention to your body! Don’t be passive, be patient! Prayers are never answered the first time and backs aren’t fixed in a week. Dry needling WORKS, and it is the perfect finishing touch. By the way- Yes, I still need to keep coming back for good health.
